Replaced the battery in my 2001 Challenger 2000. The gas gauge won't work nor will the motor fan, manual bilge pump and horn. Any ideas? The speedometer didn't work prior to the change.

Did you hook it up backwards?? That causes all kinds of problems.

But, I would start with checking the fuses. There are a few on the back of the battery switch.

I hate to state the obvious-- but did you turn the MASTER switch back on?
Or maybe the battery is dead--needing a good charge.

Are your cable ends clean at the battery or are they green with corrosion. That corrosion is basically an insulator.

Battery new and hooked up correctly. Lights staying on in switches on dash. Running lights, gauges and horn not working.

Did you hook up the little black ground that goes to the negative side of the battery? not the large cable but the small wire.
