Anyone find the task of folding the OEM tower down kind of tedious? I found a shortcut by no longer using the rubber wedges. I just use the flutted knobs by installing them backwards. How? The thread is worn out on the top tower part. I have pictures if anyone is interested. The knobs are soft and wide enough to sit on the body without letting the tower metal touch anywhere.
Has anyone ever lost the fluted knob(s) and want a replacement for their Sportster? Don't settle for the OEM superceded part (which is now hard plastic). Go for the Utopia or Challenger ones that are better and 1/2 price of Sportster ones.
