Anyone want to pick up a 97 GSI beater with 717.
Its just sitting and losing interest in finishing it.
It was stripped down and put back together.
Engine decent with 135 psi ea hole, gas tank cleaned, new fuel lines, wear ring and cone oil.
Needs to be waxed and buffed, new chin pad and plastic painted black to match hood / foot pads.

nice trailers.....
He could have spent an hour washing it down....even just a hose would do wonders for those skies.
I broke down and started texting the guy with the black and yellow 02 XPL. Had him ready to bring it to me for $750 but then he couldn't find the title. Hopefully I hear back from him.

Its not often that I walk away from anything thats $250 on the trailer, but I did.
despite the answer over the phone "the trailer is perfect"
it had one low tire and one flat tire, and was stuck in the mud.
as far as the ski, hood cracked, gauges waterlogged, heads off to make sure the engine was complexly locked, mpem covered in salt crust, rust and sludge everywhere.
despite that: if the dam trailer would have rolled I would have bought it, stopped in the next parking lot and removed the mpem/pump then drove the ski right to the landfill....
basically, I wasted 45 minutes round trip UNTIL on the way home I saw a yard sale so I stopped for giggles.
$20 I got a 10 pound box full of metric sockets & wrenches, a bears t-shirt and a dewalt 1/2 impact driver. So it wasn't all that bad after all.

hahaah, i'm originally from chicago so i'm a bears fan (cubs, bulls,hawks as well) the only chicago team I dislike is the white sox, you gotta chose your team by age 5, and I chose the cubbies.
I only got the shirt because I had a $20 in my hand and $18 worth of stuff, so I looked around for a $2 item so we could simply things. The dewalt impact wrench was worth triple the price, so the sockets/wrenches/shirt were all free from my point of view.

Yup sold it today. I was not sure if it was gonna go before spring. (98SPX for $1400)

I don't have them but that guy still does. He wants $450 for a pair of them. They are new in the box in a cedar closet waiting for us. Mine can just be a garage queen now though(till I sell it again :blush
