Someone shed some light on these pro 1200's for me please. I've heard them talked about numerous times.. Are they quick skis?

96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!

I don't know that much about them but I know that I've wanted one of the Pros for a long time. The Pro 785 is probably the more desirable of the two Polaris Pro models. They're harder to find than the 1200s but neither are plentiful. IIRC, the 785 is triple piped from the factory and the first came out in 1997.

I believe top speed on both is around 62ish on gps. I like made in USA stuff and those two red colored Polaris engines are just that-made in USA.

I'll say this, I don't care how fast they are, they're down right ugly.

They were race skis right out of the box(Polaris Pro's). I think they were like 11K back then. I'd be very tempted if a clean one came up reasonable and reachable.

Well we went to the shore today and I stopped and looked at these jewels. Rode hard and put away beat. They're tattered. These are truly parts skis, when have you EVER heard me say that? Now, it comes with another. Guy says it's just like the one on the trailer. So I asked which one, he said they're the same. Lol, no shit Sherlock, what year? I asked how much, what do y'all guys think is fair?

LOL, we just went Gas Money and cut the price in half down to $1450, and that is still more than double what their worth. They were asking $3k when I called

I really don't need another project, but I may actually make the trip for those last two if they'd ever answer their phone. Seems like a good reason to visit that part of Florida

I'm loaded down with projects and busy as heck at work. The 97GSX carcass is very tempting. I just don't want to give a day or two to junk. I'm almost done with the HX Nam found and brought me. I will come out with it soon. Then I have my XPL that I have thousands in that has been sitting there for over a year. I have a 94XP and that XP800 X model dead in my yard already.

Plus I get worn down by the public. I'm too nice of guy and can't keep some of these sales from becoming relationships. I don't want my weekends full of other people's problems even though I tend to bring it on myself. It's not a business but a hobby and I want to just make my skis better and get some in riding myself. Last weekend I towed a skiff with a Honda four stroke back to the ramp with the Big Red GSX. I've been taking more solo trips and so far so good.

If you were closer it would't be that way.
But please let others know you itinerary in case its not body of water not surrounded by land.

Remember Bock's adventure?
