oh jesus that might be the coolest $50 toy ever !!!

AND i'm heading to sarasota tomorrow.... hmmmmmm

might be the best Joke ever too, I have a good friend that lives on the water, has a $15,000 lift built for a monster boat, but no boat. I've been looking for a boat for him (so I can go out on it with him) I might buy this for him, he can sit on his dock and putz around with it, and dream about how much fun it would be to have a bigger one !

I think i'd get a big laugh if I come over on monday to tell him not only did I find a boat, but I already bought it and its in the driveway !

Yeah, I love mine. It's a tad slow though but still a blast in the pool.

Just got home from meeting the guy who bought the boat. I took it over an hour away to Pensacola since he and his girl came all the way from the other side of New Orleans for it. I forgot to give him the Poppy cover for it that was in my car :banghead:

Now a nap and then I start driving toward Spim.

My dad picked up a 96 Speedster out of the backyard of the guy he bought a motorhome from. He won't take any money from me but says I can have at it. After I get back to their place from the Spim meetup I plan to rip out the two 717's, pumps, and MPEM. From there he can just sell whats left on the trailer for three hundredish. It has a better trailer then the 96 Sportster they have so he is gonna swap those out first.

I'm towing down a single trailer and leaving that 96 Polaris SLX with my brother for a while in hopes that he can have some fun with it.

Whats wrong with it?

Question?

Is Alabama a "NO Title" state.
If so, is a bill of sale enough to get new title in Florida.

Isn't there documentation of "COO" to go with ski?

Yes it is a no title state. You just need the a bill of sale from the owner and the most recent registration.

Just got home safe with my new trailer. I always mess with 90's stuff and this thing is a 2012! Torsion axle, room to add a third ski, I'm in love. Thanks again Spim!

Here is the back of the Rover. 2 717's, two Pumps(one is a big hub....wohoo!), shafts, Ebox and oil tank. My date with that 96 Speedster went well last night ;)

Matt, I think you might need to change your terminology. Shaping does not mean "Filling".

Now you're spoiled with a torsion axle and a leaf spring will seem like an antiquated means to support an axle from here on out. My shorelandr has a torsion and it's great. My old Ravens aluminum trailer was torsion back in the day and that was like gliding on air. Nice score all the way around!

Has the carbon fiber orange bottom hit the water yet?

96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!

No I need to test it one time before I rip it back apart. The flywheel grinds real bad. I spent most my starts chasing down a bad brand new SBT fuel valve.

happy to help out Matt, I was falling in love with that trailer as I was reloading the polaris back onto it... Its nicer than mine, and I thought mine was pretty nice ! Long drive :driving: I hate doing 9 hours round trip in one day, but I did have a nice time visiting silver springs, beautiful water, paddled a kayak around there for about 1.5 hours, the whole time I was wishing I could make that run on a fast ski, but actually it was quite nice seeing the water from a different perspective, quiet & slow vs noisy & fast. Its was a nice reminder to stop and enjoy nature more.

in the end, its another score for the classified thread

ps... a friend of mine suggested trying something called "Zep Aluma Brite" to clean up that aluminum, spray it on, and pressure wash off all the grime, i'm going to try it on my Ibeam to see if it gets rid of the little white residue spots.

might be worth checking out.

Napa also makes a spray on product called aluminum brightener. It will kill all the grass under whatever you are spraying. My wife continually reminds me of that. Works great though and is super easy

Yesterday we got rained out at work so I checked cl. An ad ran across with no pic reading "1973 double jetski trailer all aluminum" for $500. I almost broke my wrist reaching in my pocket for the phone. The chick said "some guy called last night and I think it's sold". While eating lunch a text came in saying the trailer was still available.

I was there soon and it was about as good as it could be. It's what you never see and why I am so dam compulsive about checking...... a Triton with hardly any use. It's the torsion axle also. I offered 4 and he took it. I got it home on the dry tires and began the clean up and lube

Here is a pic of the original mildew and what was hiding underneath
