Dang I wish that were closer. That missing pump is a bummer. It makes me mad that a "mechanic" did that to the guy. I'd probably give him up to a grand for it if it popped up in my town.

Bah. I Was in marco today But even 1000 is a stretch For that with no motor or pump.

Well we went to the shore today and I stopped and looked at these jewels. Rode hard and put away beat. They're tattered. These are truly parts skis, when have you EVER heard me say that? Now, it comes with another. Guy says it's just like the one on the trailer. So I asked which one, he said they're the same. Lol, no shit Sherlock, what year? I asked how much, what do y'all guys think is fair?

3K for 3 roach rides ? nope nope nope, that's one of those "thanks for your time" moments.
not quite even sure i'd throw a counter back, but If i had to throw a figure at it i'd say 1300 for the package, maybe 1500 tops and that assumes you have faith in the engines/mpems, and/or are in desperate need of 787 parts for your next few projects, they DO come in handy.

ya, I couldn't have been happier, it was one of those weird postings, the ski was under cover in the ad, no phone number, I happened to be the first to email so I had dibs. They made me wait 5 days, so I thought it was going to be a fail but it turned out great. The owners were super nice, no trailer, but the owner rode it 30 minutes from the dock to the ramp for me and I met them at the ramp, (I considered that the test ride) the entire transaction was about 6 minutes, (+2.5 hours of driving). I wish I could buy 3 a week like this
This was the loaner ski i was looking for since January, good fuel economy, stable, reliable non SC engine, 92 hours. It needs a seat cover and a good buff, getting started on that tomorrow instead of heading out onto the water. The problem is that I don't really need a loaner, so I might toss it on a single trailer and see what happens.
I hate boating on holiday weekends I almost always stay home, in my area there are just way too many idiots on the water on holidays. It may be different up north where you go from maybe 20 boats to 60, but down here it does from like 150 to 600, ramps are clogged with fools, no parking, no dock space at dockside eateries, and LEO triples, so zero drinking. I'd rather stay home and:

Lol, I didn't counter offer, I almost laughed at the guy. Honestly the trailer is where the money is. About $4 hundo's. The skis are a hundred dollars a pop to me. No storage bins, paint flaking off the engines, smoked seats and bar pads. They both did have new batteries, wet, not gel. Just total roaches is all they were. I'd been a player at 5 and not a penny more. It was comical more than anything.
