somebody buy this before I do...

I haven't called, but the only thing that makes me suspicious is that its been listed for 3 weeks, makes me think that something is wrong or else another local buyer should/would have scooped it up already.

http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/4312571764.html

I'm kind of glad its about 3 hours away... if it was local....

been too long since you've had a project, i say go for it

It just seems to good to be true! But I would definitely check it out if I were closer

Long live the 2 stroke Seadoo!

ya its the too good to be true part, I see other boats in the pic's which makes me suspicious that the owner knows something that I won't know until I get home. if it was a pic in a driveway I would have taken it much more seriously vs in a lot next to other boats, AND being listed for more than a few days. again, if it was local, i'd go just to find out if its a diamond in the ruff.

i also have another possible project that I called on yesterday and will go check out Monday that i'd prioritize a little bit higher than this and right now I don't want two going.

I called on that boat the first day it came out...

First the Guy is Selling it for a Friend that left it down here, Friend Moved up north,

Second The trailer has no Title.

The Computer MPEM is dead, Engine is Shot.

Who knows if the boat is stolen and they got lucky with the boat title being in it..

Worst part the Guy you talk to is a old man and sucks at everything from talking to, to answer the phone... And The boat is parked at another Old Ladies House which only He can set up the time. He told me to come at 3pm,,, there will be others metting also... I asked him so is it a BID war or 600$? He told me he will work it out... Stay away from a deal like this unless you are going to part it out...

bingo ! Just as I suspected. The warning signs were all there, 3 weeks on a "no brainer", other boats in the picture indication a known problem that wasn't disclosed. Thanks for posting.

How does other boats in the photo point to "unknown problems"?
It looks like storage unit yard not at an "old lady's house" as n3k0de wrote.

The Guy OPT out of "The Storage" moved to old ladies house... The guy said that was a old picture...

One thing I learned from the Guy.. He listens to your question and answers them like a politician..

common sense.... why would somebody that has 3-4 boats not know that his challenger's mpem is worth more than the asking price. red flag in my book.

I know this isn't in Florida, but I though it was hilarious.... Mind you I am in central Missouri and it's 15 degrees outside. http://springfield.craigslist.org/bar/4323597216.html

ahhaha, thats a good listing right there, very creative lol
I enjoy listings that show not only Punctuation but also make me smile.
i've been scouring all over CL for 5 counties on a Vehicle search the last week or two and jeez, I thought the jet ski sellers were idiots, the car peeps are turrible.

nobody within a couple hours of me that has a table saw is there ?

would It be silly to buy one for $100, use it, and then sell it for $75 right back on CL ?

Spim, are you planning on building a car out of wood for your daughter instead of buying her one?? I don't think she would like that lol

lol NO.... building a custom subwoofer box for the back of her new SUV, and while i'm at it, probably building one for my Dodge, I've been putting it off because: (I don't have a table saw)

and the guy who's table saw I used to borrow moved to Iowa !

I have two skill saw's but its really really hard to do a perfect str8 line for an airtight box.

I'm thinking the buy/sell option works.

Once you buy it you'll think of other projects down the road so you better keep it.

I have a radial Arm saw up here that you can use but the shipping would be a killer :) :) :)

lol ya.. actually there are a number of decent table top sets out there from $50 up to $125, its just a matter of snatching one up.

Spim, I have a table saw I never use. I use a circular saw and a straight edge. You can get a cheapie from harbor. I also have a left handed circular saw so while cutting I can see the blade easier. Just remember to measure off the correct side of the blade. I have a box with 2 twelve inch subs in it, but the mdf weighs so much it would cost a ton to ship. Or there's got to be enough space to fit some free air subs in those panels.

This boat is going to be hauled off and thrown away, just thought I'd post it on here first to see if anyone might want it for some reason.
The in-board motor has been removed.
You must be able to haul.
It is NOT on a trailer.

Let me know, and we'll arrange for you to pick it up.
Thanks

ya, mdf is heavy as hell, and the box is kind of being designed around the sub anyway. but we'll figure it out, all the misc parts are on the way, fairly complete makeover (head unit, component speakers, tweets, sub, two amps) so the box has about a 3 day window to get made b4 all the crap starts showing up. the dam box when assembled will probably end up weighing 80 friggen pounds, but it should pound just right. Only thing thats nice is the little suv's are better to work with than that dam convertible. (my job is to hold the beer and write the checks, I have a skilled helper in this project)

the only one I can think of that might like that boat is the local homeless guy.
