June 9th. It's a region 7 race stop but there was some talk of checking the races out but also doing a ride in the area. I think Dennis lives near there and Spim was talking about coming up. If not that then I'll come down soon for something else.

I have the belly pan , and the engine has treaded bolts on the bottom to attach the pan or maybe something else.

From what I see, the 2001 GTX have the 951 engine. The 2001 GTI and GTS have the 717.

Yup
His newer one will have tabs that bolt to mounts VS pan. I think.
No biggie. Otherwise 717 is a 717

YupI looked it up and that year was a 951. Most GTX are 787 unless limited in titleWe might have another frankenstein build.
Edit: saw thread its def for a 717.Just uses different mount. Pm Nick to be sure cases not different.

Probably getting the GTX mixed up with GTS. I doubt if it's a Frankenstein GTX going with the smaller engine.

went and looked at this today, the had am nozzles and umi, flame arrestors, but the rest was kinda crap, decided not to low ball him but i'd say the package is worth about 1K for an enterprising young lad, about $650 to an old bull.

well on the pic, when you see AM nozzles, jet trim hump, and UMI, you look further, , and then I saw the little black box on the dash, and your thinking... hmmm tiny tach... ? or is this thing really modded. since even if the engine is bad it might make sense as a part out... Drove an hour to look just in case I popped the seat and saw all kinds of sexy goodies inside, with names like microtouch, novi and miller in there..., no joy.... It took me all of about 1 minute to look things over and say goodbye... you really just never know if somebody has something not realizing what they really have...
