Engine compartment flooded

The hose on the OPAS popped off and flooded the engine compartment. The engine sucked in water, however it didn't seize up. I pulled the plugs, removed the intake hoses and drained the oil and removed the filter. What else do I need to do?????

Replace the oil then
Remove the spark plugs and crank the motor until all the water is out of the cylinders. Put some gas into the plug holes and try to start it,,keep flushing as long as needed. Once it starts then take it for nice long hard ride to burn off any left over water.
You'll probably have to change spark plugs afterwards.

:agree: But i would also change the oil again soon.
+1 You'll know your oil is free of water when it no longer turns white/milky. It may take a few changes, so maybe get some cheap stuff till yah can run it for a minute without oil turnin' white.

I advise taking the intake manifold off and emptying it. It tends to trap small amounts of water when this type of thing happens
