It really is amazing to me how many people think a personal check will fly in today's world. $6k ski, ad says "cash only" and after we agree upon a price the guy pulls out his checkbook and tries to write me a check.

A couple years ago I was selling a $25k boat and a guy throws a low offer combined with " I'll write you a check right now". When I very politely told him I would not accept a personal check he looked at me like I had just told him his wife was ugly. We did not reach a deal HA!

Here's to all you players out there rolling to jet ski deals with stacks of hundies :cheers:

I have a 96 GTX in really great condition....probably could get $1600-$2000 here in Michigan for it.....with a trailer.

Someone should offer him about $3,000-$3,500 for them to get him back to reality.

Agree. I pulled 1900 out of minty fresh 97 Gtx on a mint shorlandr trailer by luck. He will be extremely lucky to get 3500 for the entire set up

Mastercraft made the hull only. Yamaha 701 engine. Not sure if Yamaha made the pump too. Brings me back to the PWC glory days in the early 90s

That VLC model comes with a a single 46mm carb and 61x westcoast intake with built in reed stuffers. Worth well over the asking price of the ski to the guys over on the X. The motor and electronics are 61X and it comes with a westcoast pipe, but the pump is like a 150mm and exclusive to the wetjet.

Way too much $$$$$ I paid $900 for a 99 GSXL at the end of 2012 it ran good, Spim clocked it at 62MPH on a GPS. yes, I've put some $$$ into it for a new oil tank, VTS motor, new mats, carb rebuild, etc.
