Last year I bungee corded a Jerry can to the back of my Seadoo for a longer than normal trip and didn’t like the way it sat and moved around. I have been searching since then for a solution. I came across the LinQ fuel caddy but my year of Seadoo does not support LinQ and could not find anything on the internet where someone had added a LinQ fuel caddy to a non-supported year/model. I decided to order the LinQ mount (part 860200583) for $33, the LinQ marinized hardware kit (part 295100751) for $21, the LinQ fuel caddy (part 295100752) for $220 and 4 stainless 14/2 screws to try and get it to work. After lots of thinking and planning, I got it all mounted and it works. Granted it’s not meant to be where it is, but for the few trips a year where additional fuel may be needed, this works for me and is solid.
