I rather new here and can't get my answer by searching with different key words. The question is what is the best oil for my 98 speedster 787 for the money. I read somewhere on this forum of an oil that meets all the specs but is low in cost. Thanks in advance for your help Rick

Its from walmart. The Quicksliver black jug that say synthetic.
Will be API-TC approved.

Since you have RAVES in your engine it's best to use right oil to prevent gumming up of valves.

Hi,
When you are trying to protect your $manyK watercraft, the cheapest may not be the way to go. Many people use QuickSilver PWC oil, some use The Seadoo oil, and others use Amsoil, + a few other brands depending on your location.

You have a 787 w/rave valves as I do. I've used the Seadoo oil but found Amsoil a bit cheaper. If you want to use Amsoil then the 787 & 951 motors will need the "Interceptor" type. "Injector" by Amsoil is OK for the smaller Rotax motors.

Loudoo switched from Quicksilver back to BRP brand this year.

I`ve run Mystik JT4 which is a full synthetic API-TC oil, XPS and Amsoil Interceptor.
The Mystic and Amsoil can be purchased online and drop shipped to your door...

Thanks for the tip, actually the last time I bought oil it was $40.00 a gallon shipped. But this is event better, I have 4 gallons on hand but I think I'll stock up for next year.

Lou

I use the Mystik JT4 and have the same boat as yours. My engines are both at 150psi/cyl/engine I get mine at academy sports for $24/gal. I have found it as cheap as $15 at rural king but cant find it on their website anymore.
