Battery charging?? Safe

Simple question but probably stupid, using a battery tender (new) amg battery is good. Use charger to maintain batteries over winter. Question is maintaining them if don’t use skies for a couple of weeks, leaving battery in ski hooked up to keep it maintained 1.25 amp 12?

I have quite a few friends that do that with their Seadoo's and have not had a single issue charging them with actual Battery Tender brand chargers connected to the skis and cables connected.

For safety and fear of frying a MPEM I always disconnect the batteries from the ski before charging.

I leave mine in the ski, but I have a battery kill switch on mine, so I just disconnect the battery from the system while charging...

Never had an issue at 1.5 amps or less.

I’ve read where a solar charger rated at 2 amps to maintain the battery is left connected to skis with no issues::::but I cannot attest to that personally.
