Hi All, I wanted to say hi and not just start right in with "I need help" and then never be heard from again.
Just bought a 2008 challenger 180 SE that is/was in decent running shape. Being a complete boating beginner I've already done some dumb ass things and now need to replace the wear ring and possibly the impeller... but I see lots of good advice and write ups on this forum so should be good. I'm sure i will need to tap into everyone's advice once I get the pieces off later this week and see what I have. Wear rings seem pretty easy to get (although I cannot see a single Seadoo parts supplier in Canada online), but reading the forum, I see already there are a vast amount of opinions on which impeller to buy should i need one.. We'll see once I get it off. Anyway, Hello from western Canada and enjoy the water. (I know I did for about 4 hours ...)
