OK so back to business. I dunked this thing in today and boy was I impressed! It's fast. The Coffman race pipe with the SRE 48's feels faster then the Neptune pipe with the Red Top 44's. It was choppy and my Racepak temp gauge failed. Luckily I had another one to plug in but I did not feel good about WOT without it even though it felt great. It was a little quieter then the Neptune, both run through the same 97SPX water box. The TTO said 7440 top rpm but it was too choppy for me to read it on the fly. No flat spots anywhere in the acceleration. I'm going on a ride next weekend and will probably take this one. I did have water shooting out of the head around the plugs so I have to dive back in and replace those O-rings(like I should have the first time haha). I'll through another test on it this week to check all the #'s.

 
Yeah it's older fuel also. I'll freshen it up with more 93 octane from the pump and try and tune it soon. I'd give up rpm by opening the high speed needles to pour more fuel in if that's what I need to do to keep temps under 1100 degrees.
 
I had been trying to get the time to post it up, I think it would fit in this thread but its Matts. I was thinking its own thread, the X-4 thread....cant decide.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Winter is pretty lean for me so a long ass road trip would put a dent in my winter funds but its a possibility. Esp if the gas prices stay low. If I have a spot to crash cheap or free....even better.

I'd say we shoot for next summer. What lake in GA? Mpowers place might me more central and easier to get to. It's right off I95.

Hah Gaston is the same way. Kerr lake is actually attached. What's the lift situation? Mpower said he'd move the big couches off his lifts. We could likely fit 5 skis on his lifts and I used his neighbors the other week I was up there. If we used their boat lift too we could get 7-8 skis on covered lifts.
