So I made the mistake of letting my rookie boating buddy attempt to back my jetboat into a tight dock space at the marina :stupid:. Well needless to say it pretty much ended up being a mess. The rear side of the boat has three pretty good scrapes that are deep and chipping at the edges. Just wondering how the process of gel coating works. Can I purchase the stuff and do it myself? Where could I purchase it? Is there a thread out there on this that I could be directed towards?

And just to mention, im not seeking perfection with this. Just repair. Would a simple White Gelcote Repair Kit suffice??
