bummer, just 2 weeks ago I took a 95 xp (717) with title to the landfill... Would have been a perfect donor, not only would I have given it away free, I would have paid you $10 to get it out of my back yard !

Yeah....the only hull you want for the least amount of work are the 95 xp 720s and the 96 SPX 720 as previously mentioned. Also the 97 SPI is the same, but are quite rare. Seadoo made things pretty confusing with model designations.
On the 99 SPX, there werent very many made...they made a gazillion 96 and 97s which overstocked the dealers. They also started building the 951 skis in 97-98 and got into fuel injection. Ive heard that the engineers had drawn up a 951 X-4 for 2000 but the execs nixed it saying there was no market for small skis anymore. Worst decision....ever. And I dont even like the 951 motor.
Braley has a sweet mod hull he bought from my brother that had a 720 based mod motor in it...I so wanted to buy it and put a kawi motor in it.

^^yup the ZXIs have very little value. I personally wouldnt build a 1100 ski that I could call reliable w/o rebuilding motor from the crank up. They spit rods thru cases more than 951s...lol

Yeah i have heard about that. Apparently they dont like ingesting water at all. I'd be all over that ZXI if it was closer

down here in FL we seem to see more 1200's than 1100's but it might just seem that way since I search for ultra's on a regular basis. I would assume the 11's would be 20-30% cheaper.

i do love this ski, im working on redoing one right now...now sure if i want to stay with the hood tho...

I love mine. I take it out and race the buoy course with the guys. It handles and performs like a champ. I might start looking for UMI steering and a carbon fiber good for it.....a cleaner look. And the steering.....to be more responsive when racing.
