Update, Got the carb off easy as hell, you know after my trip to auto zone to find out that 6mm hex drive is non existent lol... used an hex key wrench 6mm broke 10 fingers but got them off.
now on to removing/replacing fuel lines wont be till Friday until they arrive same with the rebuild kit. so far so good.
One last question my fuel cut off knob (shows gas, off and reserve) does not turn and i do not want to force it. So now im thinking gas is going to spew everywhere... any suggestions on this?
Most people replace that valve to begin with. When the hoses decompose they fill the selector valve with green goop which eventually causes starvation or carb damage. To remove the valve pop the small rubber cover off the outside/center of the knob, remove the small screw & then the larger plastic nut that holds the valve in place. Its like a size 22 or something large like that. Once that's off you can remove the lines from it and slide it out the inside of the ski to inspect or replace.
As for the hex drivers..I just bought a full set of them for like $8 at harbor freight. I love that place
