96 xp not getting fuel

We put in a new battery, and it turns over great. We replaced the gray fuel lines, cleaned the carbs, but it won't start. Next we put gas in each cylinder, replaced the plugs and it fired a few times. It seems that its not getting fuel, Is there a fuel pump?

One thing you might check is the fuel valve that changes from gas to reserve to off Mine was doing the same thing and there was no flow threw that valve.

We changed out the gray fuel lines, cleaned the carbs, and now it will run even "wide open", however it is hard to start and won't idle we think that we just need to adjust the carb. Haven't gotten to it yet.
