'96 SPX. Clean title. Engine runs killer. Lots of new crap.

-New Motor Mounts.
-New Engine Bedpan
-Switched from Dual Carb to single GTX Carb (better mileage, easier maintenance)
-Oil Pump Block off (must run pre-mix)
-All New fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel selector switch
-New Battery
-New VTS gasket
-New Neoprene Pump Seal
-New Pump Bearing seal
-New traction mats
-New Blacktop handlebar cover
-New bilge pump


Engine runs great and has 135+psi compression across both jugs. VTS works. Multi-gauge does not. Ski developed a major cavitation issue after I installed a bilge pump last week (as a bandaid for leaky carbon seal). I believe the problem to be the carbon seal, accordion boot, or PTO boot. It's not the wear ring. Should be an easy fix.


Trying to sell or trade to get something more tame for the kids. 2 seater? Older ski with less power? Small project boat?

I'm near Palatka. Decided to repair the cavitation deal. Just got a new driveshaft Accordion Boot, new PTO Boot, new Carbon Seal, and a pair of new driveshaft snubbers.

I'd still trade for a bigger 2 or 3 seat ski. I'll get some updated pictures up when I pull it out of the lift and get the parts in.
