94 XP 650... Rotary Valve ??????

Well working on the ski..
94 XP 650
I Installed the WRONG Rotary Valve... opps..

So the ski came with a 147 degree.. and a put in a 159 DEG..

with all that in mind.

He it goes on the water in will Idle fine but i have the Low Mixture Screws at 1/2 to 3/4 when they were at 1 1/4 But when getting on the gas Goes Straight to 4000 rpm and stays there for about 4-8 seconds then Creeps up to 5000 then once above 5000 it Screams to 6000.. and stays.. Runs good when Holding the gas and full throttle once the rpm are HIGH..



If you let off and the RPMs go below 4000 say 2500 i punch it it will again only go to 4000 then slowly to 5000 then Screams...again..


My thoughts are it should scream right off the bottom end RIGHT???


I will be putting in the 147 deg later this week...

which motor you got. If its the "X" motor, then you need the 159* valve, which settings are, 149*/65*, if std 657 motor, then yup, you need the 147* valve, which settings are 130*/65*
