Hello all,
I just bought a brand new (last year model) 2009 180 Challenger SE and it is about to drive me crazy.
A little background:
I had to travel 9 hours one way to get the boat because none were available in my area. We live on a lake and once I get it home I take it off the trailer and put in in our boat dock. We used it twice for a total of 2 hours and the next time I put the key on the DESS post, I get 1 long beep.
I look up the codes in the owners manual and after troubleshooting, it seems it doesn't recognize my lanyard key.
Since this was Saturday, I wait until Monday to call the local sea doo folks, and they are nice enough to come out and fix it. Reprogrammed both keys and all is good.
Now, I go out this Saturday and plug in the DESS and I get 1 long beep. Both lanyards.
So, now I have a brand new boat that keeps losing programming. Is this common? What do I need to do to keep this from happening?
