I am being told by numerous sources, that the wiring harness I need is discontinued(part # 278001607). This is for a 2002 GTX 4Tec. CAN ANYONE HELP ME ON THIS? I looked for used online and there are only 2003 and 2004 available. Will they work? Why would they discontinue a part on an 8 year old machine. The shop tells me I have three choices: 1.Build my own harness (seems intense), 2. Buy a used one (hard to find, not gauranteed), 3. BUY A NEW SKI???? What kind of options are those??
Also, a local seadoo shop said to try changing out the two wires that were bad (B27-B28 from ECU). Did that, now my gauge does not work, it starts, getting long beep code, but also have an issue where it is wetting the plugs, I find myself changing them frequently, every 6-15 hours of continuous riding. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I need some expert advice, please!!
