2001 Seadoo gti problem

Have 2001 seadoo GTI runs perfect for 2 to 3 mins then dies starts right back sometimes and sometimes sputters really bad any ideas

I had the same problem with a 2000 GTI and 2002 GTI

This is what I did

1- made sure compression was good
2-changed carburetor, gray fuel lines, inline fuel filter, water separator filter, fuel valve and the 2 check valves that go threw the hull and changed the spark plugs

sounds a lot worse than it really is

Sup have same problem with my 01 GTS, it has a complete rebuilt engine this year, rebuilt carb, ran good for a while , now it runs full throttle about 20 seconds then falls flat on its face sometimes stalls out.

These problems are most likely fuel delivery/starvation issues. Lean piston seizure can also happen if your oil pump to RV cover spiggot lines have failed. Another cause of this sympton can be an exhaust leak, and the engine asphyxiates.

Did you use OEM gaskets or aftermarket gaskets? Replace the needle and seat?

Still have Grey Tempo fuel lines?
