2001 GTI Carb/Fuel/???? Issue

I have a 2001 GTI. I've had the ski several years now. I've worked the carbs over a couple times since owning. My issue is this. Ski starts and runs normal, will run all day without issue. Once it is warm/hot the ski will start but will be boggy on the initial acceleration. After that it run perfect again. Only boggy after shutting down and and restarting it, you have to feather the throttle pass the bog and then it is fine. Any ideas? I have my thoughts but wanted different opinions before I tear into it this weekend.

Sounds like the needle and seat might be leaking a little which will flood the engine when sitting, making it hard to start.

Thanks for the input, Not hard to start, only boggy during initial acceleration and then fine. But only the first acceleration no others.

If you have an accelerator pump on that carb, I have seen them act this same way when they are plugged and not squirting.
