2000 XP cooling line..where does it go?

I'm finishing up repairs on my new "fix it up" XP (carb model) and have run across something I can't figure out. The case cooling line (drain) that runs from the block to the rear of the hull isn't attached to anything at the stern. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where that thing connects?:banghead:

Can you send a picture of the drain line you are asking about? I can't think of a cooling line that attaches to the block, there are two on the head.

Thanks Dr. Honda...that really helps. I can't see the fitting, so I guess the next step will be to pull off the exhaust cross over hose and open things up.
