2000 GTX Possible Overheating??

My GTX 2000 model has been running fine, but the engine sounds like it's missing and sputtering. When I crank the ski it shows maintenance on the info center. What should I look at as far as maintenance??

Also after riding for about 25-30 mins when we cut the engine off you hear the signal beeps (4 quick beeps continuously) which I read was overheating...

I pulled the seat off and the engine would scald your hand if you kept it there, I thought the engine should be warm but not hot to the touch??

You should look at the Shop Manual as it is Your Best friend. Do you have it serviced
& when or are you DIY. Neever run a doo if its not running right. $$$$$$$boom.
When its first noticed of small engine problem, Change the *plugs. If it continues, shut it down til its fixed. Bills86e
