Where should i get the parts from. The seadoo dealer wants $660.00 parts and labor and that seams high to me. Do they make aftermarket pumps.

Why do you think you need a new pump? You can rebuild the one you have pretty easily.

If your dealer can sell you a new pump and install it for 660.00 sounds fair, be sure you're getting a new pump.

you probably don't need a whole new pump, you probably only need a wear ring for $40, maybe a new impeller which you can get a rebuilt one for $60, and oil for $15, not difficult you can do the work yourself. we can help.

the dealer probably wants to replace the impeller for $300, new wear ring for $55, new bearings for $75 and a couple hundred for labor, way overpriced for what they are doing, imo. they are not giving you a whole new pump for $660, they are just telling you it will be like new after they rebuild yours.

I brought it in because the engine temp light was comming on after running 2-3 minutes. They said it had a bad wear ring. they went to take it apart and found the jet pump is bad. They say it will be a whole new pump/wear ring.

a bad ring won't overheat an engine.

do you run in salt water?

from your 'crafts' I have a similar GTX. sounds like the cooling line is clogged.

Post photos of the pump. it's all of 8 bolts to take off the ski!

Lake Michigan is the only place i ever had it just north of Chicago. I'm sure it needs a pump and wear ring because it has not take off power untill it gets moving then feals good. But i'm not real sure its causing the cooling problem. They say its not getting correct water flow because of the pump and making the engine overheat. I don't know. I sold the machine and don't want to give it to the buyer broken. But i don't want to spend $600 and have the buyer call me and tell me its overheating becaueather.

yes, it will be a whole new pump wear ring, not a whole new pump and wear ring. your temp light probably was coming on because you had a blockage in your line, just flush your lines and I'll bet that fixes it.

it sounds like all you need is a $40 wear ring, you can change it in an hour or so.
