1997 Speedster Engine Surging

Anyone who has had issues with Engines surging from high RPM back to low RPM please read this. I was told to clean the carburators and the carb filters inside the carb and that should correct it. If that does not correct your problem inspect your on off valves. I pulled mine out to find they were deteriorating inside and not allowing full fuel flow which was causing the surging. It is a pretty easy and inexpensive fix I would definetly start here it fixed mine. Good Luck.

Uh...I see this problem on the forum about...20 times a week. :ack: Pre 1996 seadoos all had gray fuel lines that deteriorate from the inside out and clog the carbs. Glad it fixed your problem.

You need to add your seadoo model and year to your avatar for future problems. Use mine as an example.
