I have a speedster (same decal on 1995-1997). My one side was lightly scuffed on a dock before I bought it,and the decal looks slightly faded. Its the decal on the side, kind of below driver and just below the rub rail. Its purple, yellow. Looks like a splash or lightning pattern. Does anyone either have one they'd sell,or know of anyone that will duplicate suck a decal. Saw one on Ebay about 8 yrs ago,and didn't jump on it,and find now that they're discontinued.
Anyone able to help?

take a good pic of it take it to a goos sign shop and get one for each side... so they match... i'm doin the same on my GTX's right now there discoed too!!!

Re-decals

Where is "Goos" sign shop? I'm in Ottawa Canada. I had sent pis to a decal and sign maker that wraps vehicles, and they told me the cost wouldn't be reasonable for them to duplicate it. I'd appreciate help contacting who you're suggesting.

I think he meant "Good" sign shoppe.

Unfortunately, those decals just aren't available, and unless you can find one on a dealer's shelf... you won't get one.

It's easier to peel both off, and make some new graphics, or live with what you have.

I know it's not the answer you are looking for, but it may be next to impossible to find.

One last thing... I know you said the wrap would be expensive... but one of those factory hull decals was about $300 (USD)

There have been a bunch of members here that have had new graphics made (including me) and it really isn't that expensive if you want to freshen up the boat.

re-hull decals

I have thought about the idea of doing all new decals. The reason I haven't is that the boat and every other decal is mint. It seems a shame to re-do it all cause of 1 slightly bad one.I'd gladly pay someone $300 us for one if I could find one. Like I said,I had found it on Ebay years ago,but you snooze you lose, and I lost. Thought of it being discontinued never crossed my mind then.
Thanks for your help though.

Wellllllllllll........................................

Do this...

set up a good digital camera on a tripod or a table dead square to the boat hull, and take a high-res picture of the sticker in question. Also, use electrical tape to mark off exactly 24" on the inside edges. Do this as close to center as possible, either above or below the graphic. (this is for a scale reference)

I have a buddy with a vinyl cutter, and he may be able to reproduce it for you.

I'm not sure what he will charge... but I can guaranty it won't be $300.

thanks Doc... what you guy's have not heard of the "goos" sighn shop...where ya been...lol. what doc is tellin you to do is basically what i did... took pics of all the graphics that i couldnt find blueprint pdf's online and took them down to a local "GOOD" sighn shop...now lucky it was owned by a buddy of mine... He is gonna cut ALL new decals for both my Gtx's (except the info decals) for around $100 bucks, and i am doing them tripple layer fade resistant...(black, white, and gray)... well worth the monies!!!! oh and as you said there expensive... what the hell is'nt expensive on these doo's...lol

hull decals

Hey,its going to cost more than $300 to replace them all. I had awesome pics done, and had them saved, but deleted them figuring this was never going to happen. I will re-take them tonight. Can they be emailed to someone?or how do you want me to procede?

LOL, of course.....???? doc says he has a homie that will take them!!! i would pm him and take him up on his offer....

Well another boating season is about to start and still haven't been able to get the side lower hull graphic done. Spoke to a few good sign shops here in Ottawa Canada and they all said they couldn't do the graphic. So still looking for someone that can do it. Any help please?

are you sure its from a dock i have the same thing on drivers side its from the fuel vent getting splashed with gas messing up the sticker
