We try to start it but nothing happens....nothing.
There is power to the guages though. They turn on.

We know absolutely nothing about it.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to the seadoo forum. You really need to add your seadoo model and year to your avatar for future questions. It hard to help with out that information. First off you need a fairly new and full charged battery. If in doubt of the battery's condition , have it Load Tested for free at like Auto Zone. If it has a dead cell it won't have enough amps to turn over the engine or fire it up. Be sure the wires are clean and have good connections at the battery and the ground going to the starter area. You need to get 2 beeps from the DESS,(Digital Electrical Security System), for it to start. Be sure it has fresh properly gapped spark plugs too. Use NGK BR8ES plugs gapped to .021"-.024". The fuel should be fresh also. Check all the fuses and be sure they are all good. Be sure all te wire connections are good and clean. This should get you in the correct direction, let us know how you make out. We also have seadoo manuals in our library of our "Premium Section" that you can join for $10.95 for a month. You can read it on line as a pdf file or print it off for you own personal and private use.

hey well first we kinda need to know what model you have. and be sure about the year

1st GUESS is the safety lanyard attached.

battery good and charged? if you can't answer that question remove the battery and take it to your napa/auto parts store to be tested.

if yes to both report back someone might have an answer. Model/year is important

Same Issues with 1996 seadoo xp

Trying to Winterize mine now and cant get is to start. The key wont beep but the gages come on. Cant finish flushing without it running!! Any sugestions

I also had it so that it would run 1500 feet or so and then just die in the middle of a lake, but start right back up and go a fare distance and die again.

Worried its going to freeze up:ack::(

After it dies, pull the fuel return line off the carb and crank it over to see if fuel is routing. I'd suggest you put a short line on the fitting and catch any fuel that may
flow out into a catch bottle before you crank. Auto zone sells a see-thru spark
tester that attaches in-line, you could see if its got spark. Let us know!

You need to start your own thread if you have a problem, not related to solving this one.
