This will be my first time winterizing the boat.
The operators manual has you disconnecting 2 hoses.
The service manual does not, you just use more hose clamps.
Why is there a difference? Which way do the members here do it.
Thanks

I use the shop manual way for my boat. I clamp the hose that exits the rear of the boat. Then i use a small submersible pump to pump the antifreeze into the top flush connector.

Here is a pic to make it easy for ya.

I have a link to the shop manual thats on my rapidshare account is it ok with the mods if I give the link..?

Im actually doing this myself this year as well (1st timer)...

What kind of fogging agent is used to spray into the pistons..?

Do I really need to use the BRP stuff or is there something else ?

Peace

Yep I like free as well..!!

Also about how much oil is needed for the pump/s..?
And what brand..?

Thanks again

Any full synthetic 75/90 gear oil will work. I get mobil 1 for under 10 bucks. It uses about an ounce per pump cone. The BRP fogging oil is only 9 bucks and will last several seasons.
