I'm in the process of changing a bad trim motor. I removed the cover to find corrosion had caused the one on the unit to fail. However, i have been unable to locate the fasteners that secure the old trim motor to the boat. are there fasteners or could it possibly be seized due tot he corrosion?

The trim module is held inplace by aplastic nut on the outide of the hull. it is VERY hard to get too unless you have the pump removed. There are also 2 8MM bolts that hold it in place with a bracket on the bottom of the hull. The motor itself is held to the module by 4 8MM bolts. 1 on the worm gear flange and 3 more around the gear housing. I just happen to have my VTS laying here on the desk next to me.
