1996 GTX High RPM power loss - 1st Post

I just bought a 1996 GTX. It cranks and idles fine. It runs good with a very slight miss up to about 2/3 throttle. From 2/3 throttle to wide open it repeated runs wide open and then drops back in RPM and then runs wide open. Each cycle takes about 2 seconds. Once I drop back to 2/3 or less throttle it runs fine. My first thought is the check and clean the fuel filters. Any other ideas?

Sounds like you might need to do a slight adjustment on your high speed screw(s).......they have a plastic cap on them and will allow adjustment for 1/4 turn.
