You didn't paint the plastic nozzle did you? Black Magic tire shine will make it nice and shiny and when it wears off you just respray.

Looks like he didn't even take it apart first. Fumes from painting the pipe must have got to him[emoji23] [emoji13] [emoji13]

Yep, right over the shiny stainless hardware. My grasshoppa is losing his way. He also painted around the rubber pipe grommets.

WHOA..........................PUMP THE BRAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a major no no. We don't paint black plastic, Triple X resto or not. That was 4 screws to remove those parts. We need to stick to a strict diet on No Lazieness. Don't rush it.

The tape came off and I didn't notice on the pipe. I replaced the grommet already

The only screws that get painted are on the engine. All else comes apart. Next thing you know you get carried away with the black paint.....................

It's not perfect but way way better. The cleaning made it a bit dull so it will need to be hit with something to bring the shine back. Zippo lighter fluid and scrubbing. It still has a few spots I need to get out, if I can't it's going to Dan.
