05 RXT and 04 RXP w/bad motors for sale

I'm interested in them but you are pretty far from Ohio. Value is determined on condition and what's wrong and how much damage has been done. I normally pay around $1000-$1800 for older 4tecs non-running. I just bought an 05 RXP in decent condition that dropped a valve for $1250 as an example. Can you post pics? I'm sure we can give you a fair value of what they are worth.
Parting them out will bring more money but it takes a lot of time and effort with most of it being pictures, ebay descriptions, listing and selling. The disassembly is the easy part.

I would be willing to cut the distance by meeting half way if the price was right. I can get some pictures this week and send them to you if you pm me an email address. I could post them here too i suppose.
The 04 RXP popped a hole int he inter-cooler (owner didn't winterize properly) and put it in the bay in the spring. Saltwater, which I am sure means a pretty in depth rebuild or at least clean up of internals. It was in a collision the year before that which was mostly cosmetic so it has a lot of new facial parts (brand new steering, cable, seat). It needs a DESS post as the one on it sticks.
The 05 RXT I just rebuilt the jet pump on with reman impeller. It was put away after being in the bay and my guess is that his kids did not flush it or clean it before they did. It did not start in the spring due to low compression. I have not checked the timing on it, but will.
Both skis could use a little love on the hulls as far as shine. When I checked them they each had one spot that could use gel coat, but both are watertight. They come on a trailer which needs I am sure new lights.

I am not interested because I have 3 I need to finish right now but normally I pay between 1000-1500 but usually if it isnt running 1000. 1500 is more for when it is in limp mode. If you have a very good condition double trailer I add 300 singles I add 100 each and trailer titles I at 100 for double and 50 for each single. That is my personal rules for buying this stuff.

Just to add. These are my personal rules to leave myself profit when I sell but your best bet would be to shoot more for the 1500 each range to someone that wants to keep them for personal use. You might even get a little more if you upsell.

Wow those are rough ... i swore I wouldn't touch another saltwater tub ... but I'm interested. Those engines are going to need everything ... whats your bottom dollar on the pair with the trailer. I'll make the trip to pick em up. You can pm me but I understand you had an potential buyer before me.
