Well after months of no new updates here comes the money shots.

I had the top end sent out to full bore and had the raves shaved.
My buddy sand blasted them before they went out so they will be ready for paint.

For 20 bucks cant beat them doing the dirty work for ya. I trimmed the valve on my engine and it took me an hour cuz i had never done it before but it wasnt too bad

Got a call this morning and I should have my counter ballancer in on Saturday. This should be the last of the big items (i think/hope) needed to put the ski back together. Realized/forgot last week I didn't have a good one. Running out of time to get my 96XP and JSG's 99 SPX ready for the Fourth of July.

Thanks for the reminder on how soon the 4th is going to be here. Guess i should get moving on my 800 lol. If you or Matt need a hand let me know!

Yep. It's right around the corner. Going to be cool seeing all five (maybe 7 if Hering comes up too) XP 800s out on the lake this year.

I haven't talked to Matt yet but I'm sure we will be down at the warehouse most this weekend, unless he has something else going on. Once the UPS guy shows up on Saturday, I'll be shooting down his way.

Edit: On second thought, I might have Rachel bring it down so I can get started on cleaning and coating the inside of the ski. And I still need to rewire the trailer and put new bunks on.

I will be at the warehouse almost 24/7 starting 6 hours ago. I buttoned up the gsx. We just sold it for $1700 and we did not even put it up for sale yet, my brothers buddy wanted a seadoo and I sent him pics of it and he bought it. The seat we rewrapped on the gsx was ripped by one of the guys that works with me, so I have to rewrap and stencil that tonight. Tomorrow I am redoing bunks on the 2 place trailer I sold Brian, Sand Blasting the 99 spx exhaust, changing a pump on a gsi, trouble shooting the fuel problem with the boat. All of that I want done tomorrow. At some point this weekend if the boat checks out I am going to drive up to Higgins Lake to drop the boat off.

Good deal. I'll be down Saturday am with breakfast bagel sandwiches. Just let me know what time.
Not a good deal about the seat. I figured that seadoo wouldn't take long to sell, she was clean.

All seals, gaskets, orings were replaced. The motor is drying over night and will be painted tomorrow. It probably would have been completed tonight but we spent 3-4 hours just cleaning and organizing the shop.

What paint do you use? By chance are you in Lansing area? Curious if I have another Sea Doo aholic in my backyard! lol

Its going to be one hell of a collection of Seadoo's. We will definitely have to get a few pictures if them all anchored out at the sand bar.

That paint is duplicolor engine enamel. I am in Madison Heights. Pretty much the i75/696 interchange.

Ok yea I know where that is. Didn't know we had so many Michigan people interested in Sea Doo's. Very cool!.Does that duplicolor bond real well. I have not had good luck with "rattle can" paint methods. Only powder coating seems to last.
