wiring up battery isolator

I need someone to back me up on wiring in my battery isolator. I ran a (+) wire from the (starboard)starter relay to the isolator then from the isolator to the (+) side of the Aux. battery. Then I ran a wire from the (-) side of the Aux. battery to the (-) post of the (starboard battery)

do you have the diode type or the solinoid type isolator? you need to remove your charging wire and hook it to to the isolator thaen run a wire from the isolator to each battery.

I have the solinoid type, it wold be real difficult to wire it any other way.

gotcha. i thought you had the diode type.
