Question:

Do I need to winterize my Seadoo's if they are stored in the garage and out of the elements? I'm in Texas and it can get pretty cold at times (this last winter got cold enough to freeze two of my outside faucet's.)

Thanks

Well, my front faucet my kids left a hose connected, with water in it (cracked the metal and I didn't check that it was disconnected.) My back faucet developed a split in next to wear the hose connect. Nothing froze in the house.

With that being said....the garage didn't get below 30.

Just wondering how cold is cold to winterize.

anything under freezing you are taking a chance...albeit a long shot. Old school winterizing method maybe useful on the few cold nights for you...trouble light in the bilge. The bulb produces enough heat to keep it toasty warm inside.

Not exactly 100% safe, but for the 3 nights you get below freezing, it would work.
