Winterization - Oil Change

Any significance to getting the oil change at the end of the season vs doing it first thing next year. I was winding the boat down for the year and realized I hadn't taken it to the dealer to get the oil changed.

I ended up winterizing it myself with the relative ease of the four stroke , closed loop system. Forgot the oil and this late in the year with the rest of the boat buttoned up it's got me wondering.

If there is an issue I'll tear apart and get it done right. Too busy with work and kids

If any moisture has gotten into the engine, its going to sit and cause oxidation over the winter months. I like the peace of mind knowing I have clean oil sitting in there all winter.
