Damn that is beautiful. So fresh, doesn't even have oil in the lines! You gelcoat the top or paint? I'm gonna regelcoat my xp once I get back state-side. Debating on what color. Black looks so good, but too hot for Florida. There doesn't seem to be too many color options for gelcoat.Winter project that I started in October. 1996 xp regelcoated hull, painted top, carbonfiber hood, r&d intake, r&d ride plate, worx intake plate, Solas prop, beach house sponsons, Psi twins on a stock engine. Still a little work and parts to go but coming along well.
It's not the best for long relaxing rides, but it is the most fun ski I've ever been on. You have to be relatively in shape and appreciate speed, maneuverability, and the launch factor to get what this ski is all about. Great for wave jumping and testing the laws of physics. Are the XP's fun to ride? I see a lot of them on here.

I painted the top and gelcoated the bottom yellow. I got my gelcoat from squiggle tool company out of melrose Mn. They can mix you up about any color gel you want and they're pretty reasonable.Damn that is beautiful. So fresh, doesn't even have oil in the lines! You gelcoat the top or paint?
