So who all has a winter build going on and will be riding a new ski this summer? Post up some pics of your winter builds! I’d love to see what everyone is working on

I've got 9 in my stable currently and only 1 runs: 97 GTX (runs), 97 GSX, 97 SPX, 98 SPX (flip ski), 96 XP, 99 GTI (flip ski), 97 SPX (probably a flip ski), 99 Ultra 150 (selling as-is in a few weeks) and a 2001 GTX. Oh, and a tandem trailer to overhaul and sell. The goal is to get the flip skis sold and move on to the keepers.

98 SPX (and the 97 SPX I need to get running again)

Check this trailer out- I got it for a deal and it'll be nice when I get done with it... but wow!

Restoring a 22’ pontoon

Winter project that I started in October. 1996 xp regelcoated hull, painted top, carbonfiber hood, r&d intake, r&d ride plate, worx intake plate, Solas prop, beach house sponsons, Psi twins on a stock engine. Still a little work and parts to go but coming along well.

Thanks! Was wondering if anyone has a umi steering setup for sale? Don't really need the bars or controls. But let me know if you have anything either way.

Damn that is beautiful. So fresh, doesn't even have oil in the lines! You gelcoat the top or paint? I'm gonna regelcoat my xp once I get back state-side. Debating on what color. Black looks so good, but too hot for Florida. There doesn't seem to be too many color options for gelcoat.

Are the XP's fun to ride? I see a lot of them on here.
It's not the best for long relaxing rides, but it is the most fun ski I've ever been on. You have to be relatively in shape and appreciate speed, maneuverability, and the launch factor to get what this ski is all about. Great for wave jumping and testing the laws of physics.

If you like very quick out of the hole, awesome to jump waves with, something that will throw you off in a corner then yes they are very fun. Not the fastest on the water but an x4 can be very reliable if well taken care of.

One? I just had to sell 2 (and a GTI, but who counts that) to move. Kept the 95xp800 for my upcoming build. I personally like working on them, which is good, as it seems I do about as much wrenching as actual riding.

I painted the top and gelcoated the bottom yellow. I got my gelcoat from squiggle tool company out of melrose Mn. They can mix you up about any color gel you want and they're pretty reasonable.

97 GSX right now, then I'm actually going to clean up and sell a few skis I've just never gotten to.

RXX going to Dan @ Fullbore as is

Also fitting Riva Stage 2 to the RXPX 300 and finishing up some things on the speedster. Speedster may go up for sale as well as I want a new(ish) deck boat to replace my 29 year old wellcraft.
