confused:I have a 2001 GTX Di which I believe will be needing a MEPM replacement. The price new, is enough to gag me and makes me want to re-think Sea-Doo ownership. Nevertheless, this is part of ownership and 'ya just don't throw away a good coat because a button or two come off.
I am with understanding that a new MEPM from Sea-Doo is mind-boggling when it comes to price, some folks say to shop E-Bay or suggest other sources.
I know new is new, but in this case although guaranteed, is quite expensive. I hear E-Bay prices are more realistic, but how do you know the background, where did it come from, are there any guarantees...Are there, per se, factory rebuilds either from Sea-Doo or an independent source...
I guess my question is that I'm looking for the most inexpensive way to obtain a good-woorking MEPM that would be backed (guaranteed) for a reasonable amount of time.
I believe the folks working on my waverunner (an authorized Sea-Doo dealer)
would perform the install and programming of an outsourced part.
Any suggestions or sources would be appreciated.
