What Is This Hose?

Ok, newbie here.

Found a unsecured hose in the engine bay along the bilge. It comes from the rear vent baffle box and goes nowhere? (Is is NOT the hoses for the bilge siphons.)
I have searched the shop manuals and found nothing. I finally did find it on the parts lists, but it doesn't say where the other end goes.

It's the battery vent hose. If you have a sealed battery you won't use it.
