What does Valve Job Mean?

hi all, just kinda lookin at 4 strokes here and there, and came across this one

just curious what is meant when it needs a "valve job"

like what kind of labor is needed maybe how much? is it similar to a top end on a 2 stroke?

Sounds like 5 hours ago when the SC washers flew apart it scattered parts and took out the head. Also the early SC's had the hollow stem valves and were prone to breaking, so perhaps when he had the SC done he broke a valve and stuffed it into the head, either way, it's gonna cost $. Might as well just get a Spark, LOL.

lol, i was gonna say, funny seeing u here, everybody has bailed on the 2 stroke thread, and all gone off to put deposits on sparks, thanks for the info as usual dan! i still search everyday for something that is too good NOT to buy
