VTS Box Cover

I just replaced my VTS box, the cover, and gasket and I reassembling everything now. I cannot get the VTS box cover to clip back on. I have the gasket pushed as far in as it will go, but the VTS cover will not even get near close enough to getting the clips on. Any suggestions?

just a guess but I'd guess that you somehow have the gasket on incorrectly

Yep, the gasket is twisted.

Make sure it's on flat, and put a little silicone oil on it.

The rubber gasket does not go in the groove in the cover. It goes around the lip on the housing, then the cover goes on. And yes, it's a good idea to use silicone grease on it.
