VTS stopped working so I went to go check the fuse, and found about 1/2" of water in the bottom of the electrical box. Don't think I've ever opened up that box before, so it could have been in there for many years and all the connections look horrible. The manual says VTS has a 7.5a fuse, but I only saw a 10a and 15a fuse in there. When I pulled the 10a fuse it literally fell apart as I unplugged the connector because it was so corroded.
The amazing part is that only the VTS is broken on this ski, it actually starts and runs great despite everything in this electrical box looking like it just came off the Flying Dutchman lol
I drilled a very small hole in the bottom of the box so that water could drain out and I'm leaving it open all day in the sun to dry out. Going to replace that 10a fuse and the 15a for good measure - is the 7.5a VTS fuse also in this box somewhere, or is that the 10a fuse that fell apart?
