vinyl wrap

I am thinking about installing a vinyl wrap on the entire top of my seadoo because the gel coat is pitted and damaged in many places and the finish is extremely dull. I figure to make the doo look new again with the least amount of work is to "fill" the holes and install a wrap. I have a vinyl printer cutter so the work to install the wrap is within my wheelhouse. My question is how to repair the gel coat quick and cheap. Is there a filler that goes on quickly that is durable. At the risk of upsetting some people, could i fill with PL premium adhesive? Any advice is welcome. sarcasm and insults are less desirable.

Thanks

I have also been thinking of vinyl wrapping the top half my ski. I would love to see how it goes for you! good luck and keep us updated. :)

I've been using marine tex with good results doing my complete gelcoat refinish on my 97' GTX. If you get white and have white gelcoat then sand it flush it blends pretty well, but I'm not sure about the polishing later if you don't apply gelcoat over it.

I bought the 14oz application (~$40) because I filled all the rivet holes after removing the stock mats, plus other minor repairs.
