Upgrade my '95 900 zxi

Okay so, I've had a 1995 Kowasaki 900zxi for a few years now. It has a couple problems with it not turning over and always having to boost it to get it going. My speed gauge is also broken so im not sure how fast the thing is. I was told it goes about 52 or 53 though. Any way to improve that?

:agree: A rotax engine is the only way to go.:rofl: Just kiding You may need a new battery. Check and see how many volts are at the battery when it is not runing and then check how many volts it has when it is runnig. It should be at least a little more than 12.3 volts when not running and 13.1 when runing. When not runing if your voltage is less than 12.3 you need to charge the battery or the battery may be bad.
