i finall got everything back together and its running. i do get pulled right out of water with the wake board but feel when i dont have the wake board hooked up it should get out the water way faster. i takes a good 20 seconds to see plane. any options?

Not sure what model boat you have but you should be planed out in a matter of seconds without a tube/ski...Did you replace the wear ring while you were down there??

What boat/ski do you have, and what impeller(s) did you install?

Regardless, anything SeaDoo have produced should jump onto a plane in just a couple seconds. Even my single engine Sportster will come up on a plane in 2~3 seconds with a normal load. (cooler chest, full tank of fuel, me, my wife, and my kid)

Agree, should plane almost instantly unless the boat is overloaded. Check your wear-ring clearance.

What is the engine doing? Is it going straight to redline like the "clutch is put to the floor", or does it sound/feel like it is pulling constantly and just not getting there quickly like the "clutch is slipping"?

Usually this problem is either cavitation from air getting sucked in from the engine bay, or worn ring.

I had mine loaded down, 4 full grown adults (I am 200 lbs myself), little 14' boat single 110 hp engine, and it was slow out of the hole yesterday, in my opinion, but it still only took about 5-6 seconds. Normally it is 2-3 seconds.

its 96 challenger single jet 110hp 787cc. i replaced wear ring and put a impros refurbished skat-trak swirl impeller. had a full tank 200lb adult 130lb adult 100lb adult. no idea why its not popping right out. if anyone has any ideas please help

When my single 110hp was cav`ing it would hit the rev limiter hard then struggle to a plane. The shoe its self may need to be resealed.According to GroupK testing, seadoo didn`t do a very good job of sealing them at the factory. So did you find a seal to put between shoe and pump?
